We attended the Horn Point Open House on Saturday the 14th of October. We've been attending for quite a few years, and our kids are always fascinated by the science and the animals there. They mostly focus on the local water quality and the effects of oysters on the environment.
We finally had a decent warm day here, so we decided to do a motorcycle photo mission around the local wildlife refuge, which mostly consists of
wetlands, water birds and old hunting shacks.
We recently made a quick day trip to Oxford, Maryland to take a walk and some photos. Oxford is one of the oldest towns on the eastern shore, as it was a port and an important place for trade.
I uploaded this video after I saw a news article about people being afraid to drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Maryland. I think it can be slightly nerve wracking, especially if there's two way traffic, it's really not that bad.
Taylor’s Island is a small island community about 16 miles from Cambridge, MD. It’s a nice “Sunday afternoon drive”, especially if you enjoy the water and the wildlife associated with it.
